The Impact of Being Filled with the Holy Spirit
Acts 2:1-4, 6, 11 NLT
“On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.”
Pentecost wasn’t just noise and fire. It was the moment ordinary people became carriers of God’s power. When the Spirit came, everything changed.
WHAT IS THE IMPACT OF BEING FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT?
He gives us a burning heart for the lost
The Spirit doesn’t just fill us—He breaks us for what breaks God’s heart. After Pentecost, scattered believers couldn’t stop talking about Jesus.
“But the believers who were scattered preached the Good News about Jesus wherever they went.” Acts 8:4 NLT

Anchor Scriptures: John 15:4,
I would like to share briefly about our personal walk with God as labourers in the Kingdom.
Many of us are called into many offices of the Teacher, Apostle, Evangelist etc and we have received different gifts from the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit that empower us to serve.
However my call to us this morning is to reflect on our personal fellowship and intimacy/walk with the Lord and the Holy Spirit.
Our Father is more interested in us knowing him, walking with him, fellowshiping with him , loving on him and worshipping him than the work for him.
Our primary calling is to dwell in him, worship him for who he is and build an intimate relationship with him.
Therefore Beyond praying for our needs, serving in the body of Christ, let’s focus on our walk more closely than the work in the Lord, dont allow the work to overtake the WALK .
Paul said in Phill 3:10, that I may know him….do we know whom we are serving? What’s our Intimacy like? It’s from our knowing him at intimacy level that we will easily tell others about him.

Psalms 84
How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!
2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
3 Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.
4 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.
5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.
6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.
7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.
8 O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.
9 Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

You don’t have to do that Job, marriage, parenting, business, leadership role, general life alone Child of God you have a helper who searches the mind of God and knows what exactly you need to do.
John 14:16-17. Let’s stop striving and start depending on Him daily.
PRAYER:
Holy Spirit, thank You for being my Helper. I admit I can’t do this in my own strength. Fill me afresh today. Give me Your heart for the lost, courage to speak boldly, and power to do Your work. Teach me to rely on You, not myself. In Jesus’ name, Amen
